Niono with its irrigation network in the hands of RC Camacho

In Niono, Mali, RC Camacho is going ahead with the irrigation project consisting of irrigation canals and a drainage network and the respective division of land into plots ready for cultivation, mostly rice. Divided into two parts – fixed (1077 ha) and conditional (800 ha), the first phase of the work, involving around 200 people and various types of support equipment, is almost complete.

At this moment, the fixed part is in the provisional acceptance phase for delivery to the client, and the load test is being carried out throughout the system. The volume of water required to fill all the canals is approximately 560,000 m3 or 560 million liters of water and two months have been estimated, therefore, for the total amount of water to fill the entire network.
